The Active Chapter is off to a great
spring. We celebrated our annual Texas Independence March 1st – March
4th and our annual Christmas Formal back in December. Both of these
events were a success, and we saw many rushees at both of these parties.
Preparation for this summer’s
rush is well underway. The rush committee started to collect donations
for rush last December. The Rush Captains will contact alumni through out
the spring to raise funds for the summer.
The active chapter believes a very
active alumni role in this summer’s rush program will help to make this
rush a good one. We look forward to organizing several alumni cocktail
parties this summer, and the chapter plans to have a major party in West
Texas. The rush committee has a good base list of rushees, but we will
need as many recommendations as possible because we do not know all of
the incoming students to the University of Texas.
In addition, please take a minute
to update your information, if you have moved, changed phone numbers, or
even been married in the past couple of years.
The officers and the Active Chapter
appreciate your active involvement in the Tau Chapter. Please do
